Cork FM is a voluntarily run station broadcasting on 100.5FM at weekend as Cork FM Community Radio and broadcasting on the internet as Cork FM.
History
Cork FM was founded in 2009 and broadcast for 30 days from November 2009 to February 2010. It gained its second FM licence in 2011 and commenced broadcasting in June of that year on a 100 day FM licence. In February 2012 it commenced broadcasting on the internet and it is hoped that this will lead eventually to the station being able to broadcast 24/7 with substantial live content every day.
